A Wikipedia page can give you a good overview of a player. However, they often fail to capture the skill, talent and drive behind a players career. Wikipedia will tell you how many goals a player has scored, but it won’t tell you how they scored them.
To illustrate this point, he’s the Wikipedia entry for Ryan Giggs’ sensation solo goal against Arsenal. “Memorable moments were his extra-time goal in the FA Cup semi-final against arch-rivals Arsenal giving United a 2–1 win”.
We aim to give more than just the score and time of goal. Each All-Star player has their own page on the site. In time, the collection of profiles will grow to cover all European nations and many domestic leagues. For now, we’ll concentrate on bringing you the biggest names in the game.
